On this walk, one of our friendly guides will lead you past the classic highlights and hidden gems in the center of Antwerp. Along the way, the guide will provide delicious local tasting samples and a lot of fascinating stories that bring the city to life.

Your city tour
- During this tour we will show you around the old center of Antwerp. We also pick up a small part of the student area and the skippers' quarter. Along the way you will see well-known sights such as the cathedral, the Steen, the town hall and the statue of Brabo, but also hidden gems such as the Vlaeykensgang and the Conscienceplein.
- This tour is not just about history. There is also attention for urban development, new projects, cool stories and street art. In other words: an overview of Antwerp as it is today, was in the past and will be in the future.
The tastings
During this tour you can taste something at 4 stops:
- We start with a glass of local champagne beer, perfectly combined with a bite from the butcher.
- Then we go to an authentic beer café; in Antwerp, where you can choose the famous Antwerp city beer (Bolleke) or an alternative. You will receive a typical Antwerpian café snack.
- One of the highlights is a stop at a cheese shop, where you can taste some local cheeses.
- Finally, we will take you to a chocolatier where you can enjoy Antwerpse Handjes and Elixir d'Anvers.
When does the tour take place?
For this tour we depend on the opening hours of our partners. We can organize this walk from Wednesday to Sunday, between 10am and 7pm. The last time you can start is 4 p.m.
The tour starts at beer shop Abbey Nr 8 in front of the cathedral.

We can provide alternatives for vegetarians and people with allergies on this tour.
Children are welcome to join, but please keep in mind that the tour is tailored towards adults. It might not be very interesting for the children.
Children under 16 that don't participate in the tastings can join for free. If we have to provide food for them they pay full price.
Don't let a little rain or cold deter you! Our tours are designed to let you experience the beauty of any city, regardless of the weather. Here are some tips to prepare for a rainy day in the city:
- Wear a good raincoat, comfortable shoes and bring an umbrella. Who knows, maybe you'll see a rainbow or some sunshine will come out after all.
- Contact us if you are unsure about the weather. We are happy to think with you about how to keep you dry and warm during the tour.
- If you do want to cancel, please let us know in time. You will find our cancellation policy further down this page.
For groups smaller or equal to 30 people:
- Cancellation is possible free of charge up to 48 hours before the start of the activity.
- If canceled between 48 hours and 12 hours before the start of the activity, an amount equal to 50% of the total agreed amount charged.
- If canceled less than 12 hours before the start of the activity, an amount equal to the full agreed amount will be charged. /span>
For groups of more than 30 people:
- Cancellation is possible free of charge up to five working days before the start of the activity.
- If canceled between five days and 48 hours before the start of the activity, an amount equal to 50% of the total agreed amount charged.
- If canceled less than 48 hours before the start of the activity, an amount equal to the full agreed amount will be charged. /span>
